Lil Kim Takeover

Lil Kim was spotted in Zimbabwe this weekend for the country's Zar Fest alongside Fat Joe, Timbaland, DJ Scratch and Ciara.

Kim took the stage Saturday for the first day of the four day fest donning a leather dress and a military uniform as she performed her hits.
Kim and the rest of the performers will perform in Cape Town at the International Convention Centre on June 2 and Joburg's CocaCola Dome on June 3 before ending their tour in Durban on June 4 at the Moses Mabhida stadium.
Before hitting the stage Kim told The Saturday Star that she couldn't wait to perform for her African fans.

“It's going to be absolutely crazy. I am saving my best performances for all the people in Africa. Whatever songs you want I will perform and only in my body suit.”

Amber Rose Gives Vibe Magazine the Finger!

Landing the cover of Vibe Magazine's Sexy Issue started off as a happy moment for model Amber Rose, until she actually read what the publication printed about her.

Rose, who gained popularity while dating hip-hop star Kanye West, sounded off via Twitter late Saturday evening (May 28), saying the cover story was "untrue and ridiculous."

"Just read 'my' interview in @VibeMagazine half of the story was untrue & ridiculous," Rose tweeted.

She continues, "F##k that Cover F##K @VibeMagazine yall wrote a bunch of negative bulls--- that I never said or did. Yall don't give a f**k that I have a Mom & Family that's gonna read that fake a** s**t I gave yall a truthful interview & Yall f****d me. I'm so sick of keeping my mouth shut I didn't ask for this life it was handed to me I was nothing but nice to everyone I spoke to @ Vibe."

In the Vibe story, Rose who is currently dating rapper Wiz Khalifa, revealed details about her life post-Kanye West, her relationship with Reggie Bush, why her story is relatable and being iconic.

In the last two years, Rose has taken her notoriety and attempted to build a brand for herself. She signed with Ford Models in 2009, and has appeared in a host of hip-hop videos. At one point, she was pitching a reality show about her plans to launch her own line of eyewear.

Her recent Twitter rant has stirred up speculation that it may be an attempt to help boost magazine sales. At press time, Vibe had yet to issue a statement regarding Rose's allegations.

Vibe's June/July Sexy Issue is a double cover that also features Miami rapper Rick Ross and is scheduled to hit newstands on June 6.
Yesterday Amber Rose tweeted f*ck Vibe Magazine, for writing a negative cover story on her. Amber who graces the cover of Vibe Magazine’s June/July 2011 Sexy issue, spoke on her past relationships with Kanye West and Reggie Bush.  The interview suggested that Amber was still in love with Kanye and that Reggie Bush was just her rebound guy. She says the cover story was untrue and ridiculous.

Nicki who's been engaged in an on again off again feud with veteran hip hop artist Lil Kim is once again drawing comparisons - and this time from the fans. Many fans listed at least 3 Lil Kim videos they felt Nicki Minaj drew inspirations from. One viewer said, "How Many Licks' Lil Kim Dang, this chick be str8 swagga jackin" Another fan mentioned Lil Kim's "No What Matter" while another added "Crush On You". The comparisons seemed inevitable, given Nicki Minaj's Barbie persona and her endless colorful wigs. Lil Kim undoubtedly had a similar bit, but Nicki still manages to make it all her own.

Actress Lauren London is known for being tight lipped about her personal life, especially when it comes to her dating life. She recently had a one on one conversation with Kathleen Cross for an exclusive interview with Skin Deep where she opens up about her struggle with celebrity. She also candidly discussed how she met Lil Wayne, their brief engagement and her current relationship with the mothers of his other children. Check out an excerpt from the interview below:

The desire to attain “celebrity status” has driven many young people to pursue the elusive dream of stardom. Is that what made you want to be an actress?
I wish that was the case, because I’d be able to handle the attention a little better. No. I was an only child who spent a lot of time alone. Movies kept me company from a very young age, and starting from about seven years old, I wrote little plays and acted out all the parts by myself in my bedroom. I can’t remember a time when I didn’t want to be an actor. It’s crazy though, because I’m such a private person. I was never interested in becoming famous. I still struggle with that aspect of my work.
Doesn’t every celebrity say that after they become famous? “I love my craft, but I wish I could just have a normal life.”
(laughs) I’m not complaining and I’m not that famous. I do get recognized, but I’m not being hounded by paparazzi every day. I’m human, so of course I like getting special treatment at times. But deep down that girl from the neighborhood  is still in here. She  might shy away from having her picture taken, and would rather blend in with the scenery sometimes  and just observe.
Have you ever walked away from an interaction with a fan that you wished you could do over?
Yes. Sometimes I say no to pictures because I feel like I’m looking crazy and I don’t always get a chance to really explain that I’m not feeling picture-worthy that day. Usually I’ll put on shades and do it anyway, but there have been a couple of times I’ve walked away and got to my car, then came back because I felt bad.
What is the biggest misperception people have of you? What misperception bothers you most?
That my son is the result of some kind of one night stand or groupie encounter with his father. I struggle with deciding when to answer or ignore the constant speculation about my private life, because I feel like that doesn’t belong to anybody but me.
Do you want to go on to the next question, or clear up the speculation now?
I met Dwayne when I was 15 years old. I’ve known him a very long time, and we were in a relationship that didn’t make it. We tried more than once to revive it, and we were engaged briefly years ago, but we eventually parted ways. People see the “Lil Wayne” persona and think they know who he really is. My son’s father is an intelligent, loving and lovable person who will always be a dear friend. That is all.
If you don’t mind another personal question, there is a lot of talk about how well the mothers of his children get along. What’s the real deal?
We are all good-hearted women who love our children and we want them to know each other. Real friendships have grown from that foundation and the result has been more love, less drama and less trauma for our kids.

Weezy kicks in the guitar-laced track, "See you had a lot of crooks try to steal your heart/ Never really had luck, couldn't never figure out how to love." The Young Money rhymer continues to feel broody in the next verses of the Detail-produced single which is expected to be his next offering, "When you were just a youngin', your looks were so precious."

"But now you're grownup, so fly it's like a blessing/ But you can't have a man look at you for five seconds, without you bein' insecure/ You never credit yourself, so when you got older/ Seems like you came back 10 times over/ And now you sittin' here in this damn corner looking through all you thoughts and lookin' over your shoulder."

"How to Love" is recorded for Weezy's next studio installment "Tha Carter IV" which is due in the United States this summer. A serious departure from most of what he's been working over the years, this song has already received mixed reviews. While some are not sure about Weezy's new direction, the others are quite supportive.

He also talked about making some changes in his live show and switching things up for his I Am Music tour that’s been extended through September.

He says unlike rappers Tupac, Jay-Z, and Biggie, he wants to be known as more than a rapper:(That was a really dumb comment by Lil Wayne, I think the people he just named were and are known for other things than just rapping?) Hey Wayne, think about your comments before they get published!

Drake Pool Party at Rehab Hard Rock Hotel

R&B superstar Drake hosted and performed during the Memorial Day Weekend celebration at the original and infamous daylife party Rehab at the Hard Rock Hotel, despite cool and windy temperatures in Las Vegas.
Lil Wayne, dressed in a white tank top and camouflage shorts, joined Drake, in a red T-shirt and blue jeans, onstage for his daytime performance yesterday. Lil Wayne also hung out with Drake’s lil brother at a daybed and spa at Rehab.

The Hard Rock Hotel seems to be one of Drake’s favorite Las Vegas haunts! Drake was joined onstage by Lil Wayne, fresh from prison at the time after serving 8 months of a one-year sentence on a weapons charge and who now seems to be one of Drake’s BFFs (actually, Drake has referred to Lil Wayne as one of his idols).
