Their name hails from a fictional story the Hölljeses' their mother was going to write about a Southern girl named Delta Rae who summons the Greek gods to earth.

So there is this band that is making headlines, Delta Rae! They are not like the average band that we have out there in the market, this alone makes them unique, but does it really?

Delta Rae is a bank of six members hailing out of Durham, North Carolina, they consider themselves a folk rock band.  Another unique thing about this band is that three of them are siblings. The band consists of three siblings Ian Hölljes (vocals and guitar), Eric Hölljes (vocals, guitar, piano and keys) and Brittany Hölljes (vocals), as well as Elizabeth Hopkins (vocals), Mike McKee (percussion) and Grant Emerson (bass guitar).

The Holljes siblings grew up hearing stories of mythology and the supernatural.

"My mom loves folk tales," songwriter Ian Holljes says. "She would read Greek mythology to us and the Narnia books." He says there were often songs in the stories: "And she would just make up melodies."

Delta Rae says their inspiration for new material comes from stuff like graveyards and being stuck in the wrong job.

For those it maybe shocking to know that Teddy was into men that dressed like women like most Hollywood downlow men. But for some, its no shocker at all!

Pendergrass started his career as a member of the Blue Notes before embarking on a solo career. He was best known for his steamy, sultry lyrics and hits such as “Close The Door,” “Love TKO,” and “Turn Off The Lights.” Rumors began to swirl about Pendergrass’ sexuality following the 1982 car accident that left him paralyzed from the waist down. The story goes Pendergrass was giving a transsexual “acquaintance,” nightclub performer Tenika Watson, a drop home after the club when he suddenly lost control of his Rolls Royce. Pendergrass’ brakes failed and he hit a tree. He spent 6 months in physical therapy following the accident, then returned to the studio.  Watson walked away from the accident with minor injuries.

Teddy Pendergrass had a large fan base of gays but never admitted publicly if he was gay or not. 

Till his death in January 13, 2010 he was still married to his wife Karen but separated. Teddy was 59 years old when he died, reportedly had difficult recovering from his colon cancer surgery.

This is Taneka today and below if what she had to say about Teddy.

PGN:So what would you like to say about Teddy?

TW:I’m sorry that he’s not with us anymore. I wanted to go to the funeral, but I didn’t want to be disrespectful and I didn’t want to be disrespected. So I just had a little quiet prayer and a little quiet tear after he was gone. I met his mother in 2001. When he died [in 2010], my first thought was for her. He was her only child. I know she has grand kids, but it must be terrible to lose a child.

PGN:And the accident?

TW:We were on Lincoln Drive when the brakes went out. The car hit a guardrail, crossed into the opposite traffic lane and hit two trees. The one thing that always bothered me was that the news media got there before the ambulance did. It upset me to think that people were calling for publicity before they called for help.

PGN:You’ve stated that the medical personnel were more worried about getting a urine sample from you than they were about your health.

TW:They were very sneaky: They said they needed a sample to make sure that there wasn’t any internal bleeding, but I knew what they were really trying to check for. After they didn’t find what they wanted, they weren’t interested in me anymore. It was reported that I was acting strange, but I was in shock.

PGN:Reading about the accident, it seems that the media didn’t know at first about you being ... what terminology would you like me to use? Were you frightened?

TW:No, they didn’t say anything because they didn’t know. [Laughs.] Yeah, I was scared. I thought, if anyone finds out, they’re going to lynch me! It was scary wondering if was going to get out or when. Trying to figure out how to survive or explain it. I was never given a chance to explain. The only paper that gave me a break was the [Philadelphia] Tribune.

PGN:I read a Jet article with the headline, “Teddy’s Transsexual Passenger,” in which they call you a “confessed transsexual.” It seems like it really tilted the trajectory of your life, your modeling career, etc.

TW: Tilted it? It destroyed it. I was told so by potential employers and it really made me doubt myself. It was a tough time. I had one reporter come to my house and try to force her way in the door. There were some very ugly things printed. I had to move out of the city. Which is sad because I love this city. I love the people, I love the neighborhoods ... There are so many places to hide!

PGN:Do you get recognized?

TW:Yes, I used to; not so much any more. It happened just the other day when I was walking down the street. But for the most part, nobody really sees me. I’m actually glad of it.

Poor Karrueche Tran she keeps having to deal with this situation. Now reports are stating that Chris Brown and Rihanna not only disappear into a New York club bathroom and kissing in public but Chris leaving Rihanna's hotel room right before picking up Tran.

Riri and Breezy were spotted partying together at New York City club, The Griffin on Monday. The pair were seen kissing on the dance floor, then disappearing into a bathroom together for 20 minutes.

Tran hinted that something might be wrong on Tuesday when she Tweeted, “Remember, I said I prefer men.”

Not sure what's going on between the three, but Chris needs to decide what he really wants. It's either the pass or the present. If we had to decide, it would be the present. Tran is such a cute girl and we love Chris and her together.

Nicki Minaj derailed the “American Idol” auditions in Charlotte, North Carolina today, after swearing at Mariah Carey and threatening, “I’m gonna knock you out” … sources tell TMZ. In the footage, obtained by TMZ, Nicki is clearly furious … shouting, “I told them, I’m not f*ckin’ putting up with her f*ckin’ highness over there.” Sources say Nicki later threatened to “knock out” Mariah … but that part wasn’t captured on tape. It all went down while the two were sitting at the judge’s table … with Keith Urban sitting in between them and Randy Jackson sitting on the far end, next to Mariah. (TMZ)

The outburst reportedly had something to do with an audition.

We’re told the whole thing exploded over a disagreement about a contestant’s performance. According to our friends at MouthToEars.com, producers ended the auditions for the day so the two judges could cool down. Big wigs on the show seem uncharacteristically upset by the blow up — it appears this was no joke and it seems producers are worried about Mariah and Nicki co-existing for the long haul. (TMZ)

Around mid-September, Carey denied having any issues with Nicki.

The “American Idol” judges’ panel is now complete with the naming of singer-rapper Nicki Minaj and country crooner Keith Urban. The Fox network officially tapped the pair with an announcement Sunday, confirming rumors surrounding them both just hours before the first round of auditions for next season was due to begin in New York. Minaj is getting $12 million for a one-year deal on the hit Fox singing series, a person in the music industry with knowledge of the deal told The Associated Press on Sunday. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to publicly discuss the deal. (Wall Street Journal)

He announced that he was gay just before the release of “Channel Orange”. With 131,000 units sold within the first week of Ocean’s album release alone, sources say it’s a plot which proved to be successful, crediting Frank Ocean’s record sales as a direct result of the singer’s closet-exiting announcement. 

Even Frank Ocean himself could be taken by surprise with his overnight success. That’s because the singer recently took to Twitter to announce “Easiest 100K ever”, after making big bucks from a NYC Fashion Week appearances. 
After his album hit iTunes, it became the #1 album in less than an hour!  On top of that, the digital sales are expected to be around 125K (and this is before the disc even hits music stores).

Are we taking away from Frank's musically talented ability, absolutely not, we are just stating that he asked for a little help and got it. 
Anyone can say they are gay, but will we actually get to see him live to be gay in his everyday life?
Only time will tell and maybe next album release he will come out as just being plain ole straight and was just plain confused.

Whitney Houston, was this death on purpose?

Whitney Houston

Whitney Houston, who ruled as pop music's queen until her majestic voice and regal image were ravaged by drug use, erratic behavior and a tumultuous marriage to singer Bobby Brown, has died. She was 48.

News of Houston's death came on the eve of music's biggest night — the Grammy Awards. It's a showcase where she once reigned, and her death was sure to case a heavy pall on Sunday's ceremony. Houston's longtime mentor Clive Davis was to hold his annual concert and dinner Saturday; it was unclear if it was going to go forward.

 

An examination had not been scheduled and that investigators are awaiting reports before an autopsy could be conducted, Capt. Brian Elias of the Los Angeles County coroner's office told The Associated Press.

Houston's publicist, Kristen Foster, said the cause of death was unknown.
Rosen said police received a 911 call from hotel security about Houston at 3:43 p.m. Saturday. Paramedics who were already at the hotel because of a Grammy party unsuccessfully tried to resuscitate the singer, he said.

TMZ.com reported that Houston's body was found in the hotel room's bathtub, but by the time emergency services arrived she had been removed so it would take an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

Everyone will assume the cause of her death is drugs, even if so. She is still human and will be truly missed and loved.

"I am absolutely heartbroken at the news of Whitney's passing," music producer Quincy Jones said in a written statement. "I always regretted not having had the opportunity to work with her. She was a true original and a talent beyond compare. I will miss her terribly."

Star magazine is reporting that the Kardashians are endorsing and selling fashion products that are manufactured in foreign sweatshops.

“The Kardashians are in bed with some pretty bad people,” Charles Kernaghan, the executive director of the Institute for Global Labour and Human Rights, tells Star. “Not only are celebrities like the Kardashians taking advantage of these workers, they are holding hands with a government that spits on democracy and women’s rights.”

The report states that the conditions in the sweatshops are worse than prisons.

The sweatshop workers live in squalid factory-run dormitories filled with the stench of sewage while toiling up to 84 hours during seven-day work weeks to produce some of the goods that helped Kourtney, 32, Kim, 31, Khloé, 27, mom Kris, 56, and the rest of their family earn $65 million last year!

All that money and this family continues to use people!

“I wrote it in Minnesota after the Monster Ball on the tour bus,” she tweeted. “We recorded it in one shot. Fernando on guitar, Paul on Drum Machine. I wrote, sang it, and freestyled the last minute + a half of the song. … We were all wasted on the bus making records. It is such a timecapsule of the spirit of our creativity.”

Iggy Azalea: “I come from a really small town near the Gold Coast called Mullumbimby. It has a population of 3,000, but when I was there it was probably 1,500. We didn’t have a mall or a movie theater. Lots of the small towns in Australia have Aboriginal names and that’s one of them.
“My family came to Australia on the first fleet. My family’s been in that country for a long time, over 100 years. If your family’s lived in Australia for a long time, everyone has a little bit of [Aborigine blood]. I know my family does because we have an eye condition that only Aborigine people have.

My mom and I started cleaning [hotels] together. I didn’t have to go through an agency or a boss that takes a cut out, because I had my own business registered. I was a hired contractor, so I made more money.

“Mullumbimby is neighbors with Byron Bay, which is about thirty minutes away. It’s a cool town on the beach. It’s sub-tropical, so people like to swim and shit and it’s a tourist market. All the houses have gotten expensive over there because everyone wants to buy them for tourist rental. So people live in my town and work in Byron Bay.
“When I was a kid saving up to come to America, I used to go there and clean the holiday houses and hotels. You can make good money doing that because the tourist industry is profitable. Everyone, when they’re a young, goes and becomes a cleaner. That’s one of the best jobs you can have out there. There’s not a lot of jobs to choose from.
“My mom used to clean as well, so I got my own insurance and registered my own business. My mom and I started cleaning together. I didn’t have to go through an agency or a boss that takes a cut out, because I had my own business registered. I was a hired contractor, so I made more money. I was able to cut out the middle-man.

My dad was a comic artist.

He made me look at [art] as a teenager. He would give me books and he would give me quizzes. He would always tell me, ‘Look at this film,’ or ‘Look at this artist. What do you think he’s trying to say?’

“My dad was a comic artist. He doesn’t draw cartoons anymore. Now he lives in the rainforest, does oil paintings, and meditates and shit. But he always made me read books and he’s a lot of the reason why I have so many people around me that I draw stuff from for inspiration.
“He made me look at [art] as a teenager. He would give me books and he would give me quizzes. We were talking the other night at dinner about [the artist] Robert Crumb. He would always tell me, ‘Look at this film,’ or ‘Look at this artist. What do you think he’s trying to say?’ As a kid, I always hated his guts. I would be like, ‘Ugh, Dad is giving me this book. He’s going to make me answer questions about it.’
“I probably connect because I was really reading that shit, I would go to his house, and he would give me shit and I would read it. I love to draw portraits and he would always tell me, ‘Your shadowing is wrong!’ [Laughs.] My dad was kind of like my art coach.”

BAD GIRLS CLUB SEASON 7 REUNION RECAP

This season of Bad Girls club left us with Shelly getting a Big Ass Whooping that she well deserved! You messed with the contacts ok, own up to it!

Now to the reunion show where more drama starts......

First let's talk about who dressed up these girls? From Nastasia's pink tutu and Shelly's not so flattering dress to all the girls having hard looking hair? What were the STYLIST thinking about? Even Perez looked washed out!

OK,,,,Back to the Drama....

Shelly says surviving the Bad Girls Club isn’t about physical strength, it’s about mental strength.
Perez asks what’s up with Judi’s purse, why she brings it everywhere with her. She explains you always need your faded cap, bottle of vodka, flashlight, and vibrator.

Tiara demonstrates that she can now dance like a black girl. Why is Perez Hilton wearing a kilt? Or is it just a skirt? It looks like a kilt.

Perez says Shelly bullied Judi in the beginning of the season. She claims it was “tough love.” Judi says that she and Shelly had good times, but that when Shelly bullied her it made her more crazy.
Tiara calls out Shelly for moving Judi’s shit. Judi says that she and Shelly have a hate/love relationship. Whether this is an intentional inversion of the expression or Judi actually thinks that’s the right way to say it is unclear.

Nastasia arrives on the scene after the other girls, since she was technically kicked off the show. Shelly gives her a nasty look as she makes her entrance.

Judi says her initial reaction to Shelly saying Nastasia wanted her out of the house was shock and embarassment but that she’s over that and Nastasia definitely loves her. Angelic says that everyone in the house had a moment when they wanted Judi out of the house. Tiara thinks Nastasia really was ready to kick Judi out of the house. Nastasia claims her plan was never to kick Judi out. That seems somewhat believable. She had to seem to not care if Judi was kicked out to to appease Shelly and get Tasha out of the house. If she really wanted Judi out of the house, she could have gotten her out of the house. Nastasia and Shelly start yelling at each other about their scheming.

Judi says she was a different person walking out of the house than she was walking into it and that she learned a lot. Nastasia says she has a sister-like relationship with Judi and that they’re still in touch. A surprising lack of drama so far. That can’t last for long…

Shelly doesn’t look happy when Perez says Nastasia kicked her ass. She laughs when they show the clip of her messing with Nastasia’s contacts and then Nastasia asking who did it. Nastasia is delighted by the clip of her kicking Shelly’s ass and starts clapping.

Shelly explains that the eye makeup remover she put in Nastasia’s contacts is safe for the eyes. Okay, sure Shelly. You’re so considerate.
Nastasia says she liked Shelly when she first came in the house but not once she realized she was a bully. Shelly says she didn’t care if Nastasia was her friend or not.

Perez says that he appreciated Shelly standing up to homophobic comments. Shelly says she has a heart that never stops giving. Then she calls Nastasia fake. They start arguing and Nastasia calls Shelly a simple whore. Then she tells her she got her ass whooped. She gets all up in Shelly’s face and calls her a punk. Eventually, Shelly gets up and tries to land a shot. They start to tussle, but security intervenes. Shelly gets free and goes after Nastasia again and tries to get in more shots. She’s quickly pulled back again. They exchange pleasantries, with Nastasia telling Shelly she looks like a hermaphrodite.

Cheyenne arrives and everyone glares at her. Tiara says Cheyenne is a sweet girl but things she did annoyed her. Cheyenne says they overreacted to her leaving stuff on the floor one time, but the other girls say it was all the time. Nastasia says she liked Cheyenne at first but once she figured out who she was she didn’t like her.

Judi claims that Ms. Voodoo says she’s a bigger star than Tasha. Out steps Tasha and everyone tries not to puke. Perez asks if anyone didn’t find Tasha annoying and no one answers, not even Shelly. He gives her an award for being his least favorite housemate. He asks if she thinks she’s classier than the other girls, and she skirts the answer. Tasha says she doesn’t even understand where Judi’s coming from. She also doesn’t know the meaning of the word “classy.”

Perez asks why Nastasia wanted to kick Tasha out of the house so badly, and Nastasia says that she was getting on everyone’s nerves with her complaining. Tasha says that her friends in the house were Shelly and Priscilla.

Priscilla comes out next and takes her seat. That Priscilla and that voice, just makes me shiver, such a dirty girl. Judi says that somebody had to go first and it ended up being Priscilla. She says that Tasha’s cheap shot during her fight with Priscilla was not classy at all and that she’s the fakest bitch in the house.

Tasha tells Nastasia “Come right here and fight me.” Nastasia takes her boots off and tells her to bring it, and that’s where part 1 ends.

On Aug. 18, the "Men in Black" star sat a a VIP table with Trey during an event at The Setai's penthouse in Miami's trendy South Beach - and the two reportedly hooked up again the following evening to enjoy dinner and the local nightlife.

Troy Taylor, a record exec and mentor to the singer, told THE ENQUIRER: "I know that Trey and Will have been friends for a very long time, but I can't speak to the nature of their relationship. It's none of my business."


Well we know they both are into men, so this should not be too much of a shocker.

After all those interviews where Trey talks about how girls can’t take the d*ck I guess he went out and found a dude who can! The gay rumours have plagued Trey’s career along with his below average sales since day one. Sandra Rose has often times described Trey as “The Struggling Performer” until his recent hyper change of luck. His current hyper sexualized image has been perceived by some to be a reflection of him trying to dispell gay rumors…a form of overcompensation of sorts.
Hmm. I guess his song ‘Bottoms Up’ really did mean something.

Brandon Deida is a 24 year old NYU grad who works in A&R for RocNation after spending some time at Sony. The two met the day before the MTV VMA’s.

“They’ve been inseparable ever since,” says the source, “but everything is very lowkey.”

They have managed to not be seen together because of their elaborate efforts to avoid them being in the same place at the same time. However Trey can be seen in and out of his boy’s job at the 1411 Roc building. Since he has finished his tour with Monica he has some spare time on his hands to go show Brandin what the meaning of ‘Bottoms Up’ really is!

“Trey is in Seattle right now preparing for the OMG Tour which starts tomorrow,” the insider tells Bossip, “and Brandin is there also, presumably on “business”.”

They stay in seperate hotel rooms, ride in seperate cars and still have managed to be found out by those close in Trey’s circle. We all know how freaky Trey is and after being hemmed up with girls all day he probably wants to let loose on his new boo at night.

“Everything they do is very elaborate,” the source says of their attempt to cover up.”They don’t ride in the same cars either.”

After Trey’s tour with Jigga earlier this year he is said to be signing a big deal with RocNation which is going to give Trey a lot more time to lay it on thick with his alleged boyfriend but ultimately is going to throw them both in the rumor mill big time.

“The two are very private and scared about anyone finding out about their relationship, but it’s just a matter of time until things start coming out,” Bossip’s source predicts.

We’ve been saying it all along and it’s only a matter of time it all comes out… like Trey Songz’ s vocal trouble coming from his ‘oral hobbies.’ STAY TUNED!

Carrie: The finale has one of our biggest cliffhangers ever. Honestly, this show just gets crazier and crazier each season! This year, a dark shadow from Terry’s past will show its face. And the finale opens a door but I don’t know what’s beyond it. Bottom line, there’s never a moment where Arlene can relax. Just when you think everything is OK, something’s lurking around the corner – but that’s what is so great with our show.

“The finale turns Bon Temps upside down,” the actor said, speaking recently by phone from New York, where he was shooting a feature film tentatively titled “Gods Behaving Badly.” “Lafayette and Jesus are directly in the middle of it, and it doesn’t end well. No finale in the history of ‘True Blood’ has been worse than this one in terms of the cliffhangers. People are going to be [upset] because they’re going to have to wait like seven months before they figure out what materializes after this finale.”
